The Mockingbird stands for Boo Radley in the book. Like the mockingbird, Boo Radley is innocent and helps people instead of hurts people. He helped Scout and Jem at times like when the they were attacked by Bob Ewell. And so Boo Radley is innocent like the mockingbirds that only sing.
