Chapter 6
Written by Andrew, Jonathan B., Peter, Anonymous
As Dill's last day in Maycomb arrives,
Their plan to peak at the Radley's strives,
Even Scout decides to come along,
Jem and Dill convince to do no wrong,
They peak through shutters until they see...,
A man with a hat and decide to flee,
Their swift escape drifts into suspense
As Jems blazing blue pants get caught on the fence
Jem kicks free and to his home he scurries on
Atticus asks where Jems pants have gone
Dill cleverly blames it on a game of strip poker
Oh' Dill, that little joker...

Chapter 7

School starts up again
And Scout has pain in her brain
Scout and Jem find a ball of gray twine
In the knothole
But in a few days they take it like a hot egg roll
A few days later they check the hole
They find soap carved in the shape of them, gum, a medal, and a watch
24 hours pass and the knothole was filled with cement
Emotions shot out, tears were drawn, it was very unpleasant
They ask Mr. Radley about the tree
He plugged the hole because the tree was dying
It’s the key.

Chapter 8
Written by David, Elma, Herman, Makda, Scott
Snow is here,
The wind blows in my ear.
Though as the children look out on the street,
A fire is brewing with heat.
Miss Maudie’s house is on fire,
The smoke keeps drifting higher.
Miss Maudie is saved,
Though her house had caved.
She says she’s okay,
Though, the skies are still gray.
The wind blows in my ear.

A fire is brewing with heat.

Cecil Jacobs calls out Scout, just for her dad,
Says he's defending blacks, which Cecil claims is bad.
Scout asks Atticus what that's all about
Atticus sits down and explains it all to Scout.
He talks about Tom Robinson, a man thats been accused
Atticus steps up to defend him, and the town is quite bemused.
Atticus is very troubled, says he's in denial
That because Tom's a black man, he won't get a fair trial.
When Cecil Jacobs challenges Scout,
She decides to just walk out.
Christmas comes for Jem and Scout, without anticipation
They have to go to Finch's Landing, to be with their relations
Scout and Jem were angry, but they took it back
When on a train arrived their favourite Uncle Jack!
Christmas morning arrives their excitement is not stifled
When they open up their gifts, and find two air rifles.
Scout meets up with Cousin Francis, a kid whom has some issues
Calls Atticus a horrible name, and now he needs some tissues.
Uncle Jack breaks up the fight, and asks Scout why she caused a riot,
Scout tells Jack what happened, and he agrees to keep it quiet.

Chapter 10
Written by Sabrina, Sanskar, Anonymous, Anonymous
Scout thought Atticus was unable to do anything.
Then a mad dog came and ruined everything.
Atticus and the mayor was called to the site
When the mad dog came and went awry
The mayor told Atticus to shoot
But he refused
Fumbling with the gun--
Then his glasses--
He shot
The mad dog fell
And Jem was shocked
The children found that Atticus could shoot
Deadliest shot around--that was him.
