Chapter 26
Written by Cameron, Morgan, Steffen, Victor
Jem is excited to be on the football team
On these coming years
While scout wants to see and hear Boo with
Her own eyes and ears
The siblings finally learn how much Atticus knew
About that one summer night
How he found out was finally
All black and white
Scout contemplates why Atticus was re-elected
Although he was disagreed with
Since they called him names
Trying to prove Tom’s conviction a myth
Scout’s class has a current event assignment
Every single week
Her teacher takes this time to discuss Hitler
And his dictator techniques
Jem is still down from what happened:
The event with Tom
But Atticus told Scout to give him some time
He would eventually come to a calm
While Jem still copes
Over the shocking recent events
Scout moves on and until she sees boo
She won't be content

Bob Ewell gets a job with the WPA
But as quick as it came it flutters away
Judge Taylor hears a prowling in his house
He searches but only sees a shadow in rouse
Bob Ewell follows Helen to work
He keeps his distance like a gentle desk clerk
But he doesn’t stay clean and whispers obscenities
Once threatened with arrest he stays still like smoked bees
Jem takes Scout to the school play with excitement
Scout the ham is nervous as for her school she will present.

Chapter 28

The ambiance is gloomy this morning
A walk to school that should be quite boring
But to the sibling’s surprise
They were in for scare
A man tried to hurt them
He was a vicious as an angry bear
“Run Scout, run!” Jem said
Then the cruel man hit him on his head
Afraid they were
And tears they shed
But Scout knew he was only unconscious
Not dead

The end gets near
Scout shares what she hears
A costume is slashed
Everyone is being rash
Who saved Jem?
Scout thought, and then
All of a sudden she knew
It was Boo all along, too!
Pale to the bone
He's welcome in their home
For if it weren't for him,
Who knows what would have happened to Jem

Scout, this is Boo. Say "How do you do?"
Then Atticus and Heck begin to argue.
Sheriff Tate says that Ewell fell on his knife.
Thus Mr. Bob accidently ended his own life.
Atticus, thinks Jem's at fault, and being defended
And more or less wanting his son to be apprehended.
Sheriff insists that Jem is really not a baddie,
And hints that it might, in fact, have possibly been Boo Radley.
Atticus and Sheriff come to a decision that's unsaid
And part ways in the night, letting the dead bury the dead.

Boo goes upstairs to say goodnight to Jem
Scout will never see Boo again
He goes inside and she never sees him again
And she thought of the now and then
Looked at the world from his perspective
She returns home and sees life isn’t as hectic
Atticus was reading Jem a story
And she fell asleep when the night was starry
Scout had seen view from another life and Atticus is still nice.
